Business problem
The business problem
Scheduled water transport needs digital ticketing that can serve passengers clearly while giving operators control over routes, schedules, ticket sales and validation.
- Passengers need a reliable way to find routes and buy tickets.
- Operators need reusable tooling that can be configured for different routes and brands.
The solution
ReApptor built a white-label ticketing platform with passenger apps, route and schedule management, ticket purchasing, verification and operator-specific deployment support.
- The same platform foundation can be branded for different transport operators.
- Passenger and operator workflows share consistent ticket and route data.

Case overview
Reusable platform model
Bout Shuttle is a reusable ticketing and passenger transport platform for scheduled mobility services.
The platform can be configured for different route networks, operators and public-facing brands.
Route discovery
Find scheduled routes and departures using the operator’s current route data.
Ticket purchasing
Select a route and departure, then purchase the ticket on mobile before boarding.
Ticket validation
Check purchased tickets against the same records used in the sales workflow.
White-label deployments
Adapt branding, routes and schedules while keeping the same ticketing platform.
Product capabilities
What customers and teams can do
Commerce
Passenger ticket purchase
Passengers select a route and time and complete their ticket purchase on their phone before boarding. The same mobile flow adapts to each branded deployment's routes and schedule.
Operations
Route and schedule management
Operators define routes, stops and schedules from a back office, and those settings drive what passengers see in the booking flow. The same tools support a single route or a full regional network.
Operations
Ticket validation
Staff or gate systems check a purchased ticket against the same record created at purchase, so validation and sales never drift apart. The workflow works the same way regardless of which branded deployment issued the ticket.
Platform
Operator deployment configuration
A new operator or region launches on the same ticketing foundation by configuring routes, schedules and branding rather than building a separate system. This is the model behind the platform's existing Waxholms and LA Metro deployments.
Customer portal
Passenger authentication
Passengers sign in, recover a forgotten password or sign up through a branded entry point specific to each deployment. The same account then carries ticket history and communication for that passenger.
White-labeling
White-label branding layer
Logo, colors, imagery and language switch per deployment while the underlying ticketing platform stays the same. This lets Waxholms and LA Metro each present their own identity on top of shared functionality.
Reusable platform model
Live use and rollout
operator deployment
Waxholms deployment
A branded deployment of the shared ticketing platform for scheduled water bus routes in Sweden, with its own passenger-facing identity while running on the same route, ticketing and validation foundation as other operator deployments.
operator deployment
LA Metro deployment
An operator-specific deployment of the same ticketing foundation configured for water shuttle routes in the United States, sharing route, ticketing and validation logic with the platform's other branded deployments.
completed franchise deployment
Navette HDS
A branded, franchise-style deployment of the shared ticketing platform operated under the Navette HDS name in the Hauts-de-Seine region for two seasons (2024-2025), with its own mobile apps and website carrying real passenger ticket sales before the service was discontinued.
