Infrastructure & Maintenance

Maintenance keeps your solution running and current from the first day of the project. It covers the cloud environments, everything needed to run them and the work that keeps existing functions in order.

  • Dedicated AWS environments in the EU (Ireland)
  • Automated checks every minute and alerts around the clock
  • Security, framework and AI API updates included
Discuss your requirements
Exact service terms depend on the contract, the solution and its size, and are agreed for each customer.

  • 3 separate environments: test, staging and production
  • 1 min between automated system checks
  • 24/7 automated monitoring and alerts
  • 2 named users with access to Jira and Bitbucket

What maintenance includes

Hosting and running costs

Servers, databases, file storage, networking, monitoring and logging tools and the other services needed to run the solution.

Backups and recovery

Automatic database backups, a replicated database and documented restore procedures.

Monitoring and alerts

Automated checks every minute, central logging and alerts to the team when a critical fault appears.

Updates that keep you current

Security, framework, protocol and compatibility updates, including changes in the AI services the solution uses.

Critical fault fixing

Critical faults are fixed and the service restored: server downtime, unavailable applications or critical services. Other bug fixes depend on your support level.

AI usage included

The AI services used by the solution's own automation are included up to an agreed monthly amount.

One controlled path to production

01

Test

An internal environment behind a VPN, with nightly builds for new features and automated tests.

02

Staging

A copy of production with smaller resources. Release packages are tested here and shown to you.

03

Your approval

Your product owner approves each release package, and you decide when the solution goes live.

04

Production

The live environment, preferably on your own domain. Releases go out without downtime and roll back automatically if an update fails.

Sized to your load

Three infrastructure tiers cover normal, loaded and heavy use. The tier can be raised later without changing the application.

Standard

For most business applications

For example one country, fewer than 1,000 active users and fewer than a million orders a year.

Medium

For applications under heavier load

Double the resources for applications with a higher load.

Extra

For heavy applications

Extra resources for heavy applications with many simultaneous users.

Maintenance keeps what exists working

New features, scope extensions and change requests are not maintenance. They come from the licence's three monthly improvements or are agreed as development work.

Which tier fits your solution?

We size the environment based on your users, data volumes and integrations.
