Case overview

Business problem

A river journey starts on a phone

Taxi Seine Paris presented private boat travel between Port de la Bourdonnais, near the Eiffel Tower, and Port du Louvre. Passengers needed to understand the service, find the boarding point and make a reservation in the same recognisable experience.

  • The public identity belonged to the passenger service; reservations also needed to carry the information used to organise the trip.

One branded journey, built on Bout Ride

ReApptor developed the Bout Ride foundation used for this deployment for Bout. Paris je t’aime branding, Seine boarding points and service information shaped the passenger experience, while booking records connected it to the platform’s trip workflows.

  • The delivered service could be used through a browser or mobile app. Passengers could explore the route, request a trip and return to their bookings.
  • The images illustrate the delivered service with fictional bookings. Dates, fares and availability are examples.

Product capabilities

What customers and teams can do

Discover the service before booking

Passengers could explore the boats, the Seine and the places along the route. Paris je t’aime branding and photographs gave practical booking information the same identity as the public service.

Know where to board

Boarding-point pages combined photographs, location information and directions. Passengers could recognise Port du Louvre or the Eiffel Tower stop and understand how to reach the boat.

Turn a request into a trip

A reservation brought together the route, date, passenger group and fare. The passenger’s request connected to the booking and captain workflow rather than becoming an isolated enquiry.

Return to the same booking

Passengers could find upcoming and past trips in their account and reopen the journey details. The same trip record kept service information close after the initial reservation.
